TELEHANDLER
The Telehandler is a rough terrain telescopic forklift with four wheel drive & four wheel steer so it can work in some tight and awkward sites. It has the capability of lifting up to 4 tonnes and has a reach of up to 17 metres high (approximately 4 floors) and 13 metres horizontally.
LIFTING AND SHIFTING
This is mainly used for the lifting & shifting of building materials such as plasterboard, pallets of blocks & bricks, tiles, kitchen cabinets, stone benchtops etc. I also have the ability to move landscaping materials with a 4 in 1 bucket attachment. Also able to lift furniture and appliances, air conditioning and hot water systems.
ABOUT US
Hi I'm John Van Vugt (but everyone calls me Jack). Boost It is a family owned and operated business, my wife Kylie and I make a great team! I have worked in the fabrication industry as a Trade Qualified Boilermaker for over 20 years. 2 years ago I moved back to the Sunshine Coast and am loving the lifestyle.
I took over the Manitou hire business in July 2017. The Boost It business has been operating on the Sunshine Coast for a number of years but is now called Boost It Sunshine Coast.
I would like to build the business up to be well known on the coast as the business that people and other businesses can rely on for their lifting & shifting needs.
Kylie Van Vugt is also an owner and looks after the accounts. Kylie has a Diploma of Business Accounting and has worked for a large International Trading Commodity company for 12 years in Brisbane. She currently works for a locally owned Pharmacy on the coast.
